On June 9, legislators and leaders from ˿϶Ƶ’s electric cooperatives gathered at the Central ˿϶Ƶ Lineworker Training (COLT) facility in Mount Gilead to learn about COLT’s state-of-the-art programming.

Severe storms that occurred late on Monday, June 13, and into the early hours of Tuesday, June 14, have caused widespread outages across ˿϶Ƶ, including the territories of 22 of the state's 25 electric cooperatives.

During the May meeting, Butler Rural Electric Cooperative's board members voted for officers, which are elected annually.
