Our ST&LP instructors and director are currently on the road with the 1st quarter safety meetings. For this quarter, Jason Woods is focusing on excavations with “Hazardous Pipelines ROW: What is an Excavation?.” Zack Azallion’s current meeting, “OSHA General Industry Essentials for the Lineworker,” provides an overview of some of the general industry requirements for linemen. Dwight Miller is currently conducting the culture of safety strategy lab survey at the local level – this survey/meeting has been lasting a solid three hours. Steve Savon (eagle eye) is currently conducting his annual mock OSHA facility audits. The COLD (COLT Onsite Lineworker Development) Program is going strong with COLT instructors offering onsite technical training or crew observations.
