Federated Insurance and NRECA have been working together with Pike Electric and the RESAP Area Administrators to bring virtual reality to cooperatives across the nation. Ë¿¹Ï¶ÌÊÓƵ participated in a pilot program that included repair of downed overhead conductors and a number of changes have been implemented since that time. We hope to soon be working with our co-ops to determine ways that we can best utilize the new technology moving forward. VR is just one more tool in the toolbox not intended to replace any current training and is currently limited to the downed conductors program.
